It is in December. So now is the time to choose how you will get the W2 form in January. MCPS uses Document self-service for web and email delivery of w2 to its employees. On the other hand, your company uses US postal mail to deliver paper W2 forms to their employees’ home addresses. If you want to get your W2 on paper, then your paper W2 will probably be sent by postal mail on January 31, which may take at least five more days to get your hands on. However, if you choose web and email delivery- you can get your w2 form in at least 17 days and five more days (delivery standard time) because it will be delivered by web and email on January 13. So now select how you want to get your W2 form. It all depends on your self-wish. However, MCPS and I, the author, are motivating you to choose the option of web or email delivery. Accessing Document Self-Service
There are two ways to access ePaystub and Tax Document Employee Self-Service. Choose the best route at your convenience: –
The first is – From any computer, anywhere using an internet connection: Visit https://epaytax.mcpsmd.org/login.aspx.
The second is– From the MCPS intranet site: once logged into the site, navigate to the MyPay section, then click on the ePaystub link.
Logging In
Colleagues can log in to ePaystub and Tax Document Employee Self-Service using their outlook username and password. If you use the wrong username and password five times a row, your account will be locked to protect your account. If you need to change your password, you can call 301-517-5800.
View Pay Stubs
You can view your pay stub by following the instructions below.
- Click on the “My ePaystub” link under “View My Documents” on the left side of the Home screen.
- Click on the magnifying glass for the applicable pay statement date you want to view. This will open the pay stub for viewing in a security window. Enter your employee identification number in the required box.
- Finally, use the Print icon to print a copy.
View W2s
You can view your W-2 forms by following the instructions below.
- Click on the “My W-2” link under “View My Documents” on the left side of the Home screen.
- Click on the magnifying glass for the applicable tax year you want to view. W2 for 2020 will be posted on ePaystub and Tax Document Employee Self-Service on January 13, 2021.
- This will open a security window where you will be required to enter your employee identification number in a box. Once entered, the W2 will open for viewing.
- Finally, use the Print icon to print a copy.
