Paychex Flex Self-Service Portal is an entirely self-service system where you must do everything right from the registration process. Assuming you are a new Paychex Flex user, I will guide you step by step.
Registration Process
- Start: To register on Paychex Flex, first, navigate to the Login page (http://www.paychexflex.com/) and enter “Sign-Up.”
- Personal Information: All personal information required to manage your Paychex Flex profile must be filled in here in the Personal Information form (especially those marked with *). Then click the “Continue” button to enter the Security Information step.
- Security Information: In the Security Information step, you must answer the four security questions sequentially by selecting them from the dropdown menu and clicking the “Continue” button to proceed to the “Security Level” step.
- Security Level: At the Security Level step, you can set your account’s security settings according to your preference. You can set up settings such as a verification code (via call or text) or answer a security question when logging into your account with a new device.
- Account Information: In this step, you must create a Username, Password, and Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your account. The Username must be unique, eight to eighteen characters long, with no spaces or special characters, but may contain numbers, hyphens, and underscores. The Password will be eight to thirty-two characters long with at least one uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and number. The PIN will consist of four to ten numeric characters. Finally, click the “I’m not a robot” checkbox and go to the “Email Verification” step via the “Continue” button.
- Email Verification: A verification link will be sent to the email address you have provided; click on it to activate your Paychex Flex account. If the link expires for some reason, you can receive the link again by clicking Resend Email. If the email verification is successful, you will get a “Congratulation” message on the screen.
- Login: From the Paychex Flex login page, enter your Username, click on the “Next” button, and complete the login process by entering the Password.
Pay Stubs and W2 Statements: Among the menus located in the header above the Paychex Flex dashboard, the “Documents” menu is on the right side. After entering the “Documents” menu, the Most Recent, Check Stub, and W-2 options are available in the category list on the left screen. You will get your latest pay stub details under the “Most Recent” option. The “Check Stub” option contains the list of all your Pay Stubs, and the “W-2” option contains your W2 Statements.
