COVID-19: Self-employed, gig workers, independent contractors and low wages workers can file for Federal Benefits!

If you’ve lost a job or had hours reduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you can file a claim for benefits, including unemployment.  File a claim to the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity are now open through phone and online. You can call at 1-866-500-0017 and press 1 to file a claim, but the phone line can be busy due to the staggering number of call at a same time. So you can file your claim online for the fastest service. Basically a staggering number of Americans loses their jobs or have their hours reduced during the COVID-19 outbreak. As results they are filing the unemployment application for help. But you must be unemployed through no fault of you own, quarantined or hours have been reduced to be eligible for unemployment benefits.

How to Apply-

  1. Go to the UIA’s system (MiWAM) at michigan.gov/uia
  2. Scroll down and Click on “For Employees” from the UIA home page.
  3. Click on “Sign in With MILogin” under Log in To MiWAM for claimants section to create a new account or login with an existing account.
  4. If you’ve an existing account then click on Login otherwise click on Continue button to create a new account. The following steps are for new user-
  5. Step 1: Profile information- enter the all required information (name, email, phone etc.) and check the terms and condition box then click on NEXT.
  6. Step 2: Security Setup- chose a user ID and password of your choice (but it should be follow the guidelines), setup a verification process and then click on CREATE ACCOUNT.
  7. Step 3: Confirmation- You will see a confirmation message in the next window. You’ve to verify your account by email or phone that you’ve chosen in Step 2.  
  8. Now login and start filing a new claim in MiWAM. To file a claim, enter your Identification (SSN and DOB) then the system will determine your next steps. If you have not previously filled for unemployment benefits click on Submit. Otherwise you can access your filed claim.
  9. Enter your Michigan ID information and click on Next Step. Agree to the Security Agreement and click on Submit to begin filing your new claim.
  10.   Identification information: after completing all required information, click on Next Step.
  11. Demographic Information: enter your physical address, telephone number, demographic information and additional information. Click Next Step when finished.
  12. Additional Info: you have to answer the all questions in the Claim Date, Out of state work and school information sections. Click on the Next Step when finished.
  13. Employment Information: the information are required in this section are available in your pay stubs and W-2 documents. Click on the Next Step when finished.
  14. Payment Method: This is final steps to finish a claim. Setup your direct deposit information to access your money faster. Click on Next step.
  15. Select an option to receive correspondence from UI. There are two option- Go Green and Paper. Click on Next step.
  16. Check the tic box to agree your unemployment benefits rights and click on Next Step.
  17. Review and submit your claim. After you file, you’ll be notify about the claim and the program. Once you’re receiving benefits, you’ll have to certify every two weeks, which you can do online. To keep receiving benefits, you have to show that you are actively looking for work. The department advises keeping a record of your search dates. If there are questions about your eligibility, you may have to participate in a phone interview.

COVID-19: New mobile friendly site to apply for unemployment benefits in Florida.

Application to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) are now open through a mobile friendly website and DEO CONNECT due to the staggering number of new unemployment claims. Both website are for everyone to apply, but too much errors are experienced at DEO CONNECT, as results a lot of people in Florida have struggled to file a claim. Therefore, you can apply for the unemployment benefits with the new mobile friendly portal- it is convenience, user oriented and also provides a much better experience for smartphone and tablet user.

How to Apply-

  1. Go to the DEO’s new launched RA Claims website
  2. Complete the registration process or login.
  3. Change your password, if you’re asked.  
  4. Click on “Create Claim” then select “New Claim” and then Cliam (blue color).
  5. Read the “Fraud Alert” notice and select Yes then submit.
  6. Enter your personal information including name and residential information. Click on Next.
  7. Enter your identification information, SSN, employment and employer information in the following steps.
  8. You have to select “COVID-19” as reason for separation. Once done, submit your application.

Congratulation on your new job at Marshalls and welcome to my website. As a newly hired or staff changed employee with Marshalls you are eligible to access the TJX ESS (Employee Self Service) from anywhere and anytime. TJX ESS is a secure oracle platform that allows you to view and update your information online, view your weekly pay slip, enroll into the benefits plans, request for leave of absence, add or update your federal tax information and much more online whenever, and as often, as you need. However, you will need to register for an account to access TJX Employee Self Service portal. Registration must be completed using a personal computer, not a computer that is connected with TJX intranet. If your account authentication is unsuccessful, at first verify your name, dob and AIN that you have entered. Pay Stubs / Pay Slips

To go straight to the TJX oracle self-service portal, click on the link below and follow these instructions:

  1. If, this is your first time- create a unique user name and password. To create- click on https://www.mytjx.com/OA_HTML/AssociateRegister6.jsp?lang=US. This will take you to the registration page, where you have to select US TJX SELF REGISTRATION under Navigator. You will be asked for some of personal information in the next step and click on next. Review your entered information and click on Submit. Now you can create a unique user ID and password.
  2. Returning user- go to https://www.mytjx.com/OA_HTML/AppsLocalLogin.jsp and login with your unique user id and password.
  3. To view you weekly payslip, click on Payslip. This will show a list of pay statements and most recent is in the top. You can also choose a desires date and view or print it out.
  4. If you have specific questions in reference to your account, you can back to welcome to ESS page. There are too many helpful resources or contact with IT office.

W-2

Your important W-2 form from Marshalls is available online through paperlessemployee.com. Both active and former colleagues can log in by entering https://paperlessemployee.com/tjx into an internet browser’s address bar. If this is first time, you have to create an account using your personal and employment information such as AIN, SSN, DOB etc. Once done, you will be able to download as pdf or order for printed copy by mail.

Refresco Ultipro Login- Access Pay stub & W2 Online

Refresco North America’s human resources team has bring a new self-service system called Ultipro for their employees. This new Ultipro replaced ADP, so employee can access their HR, Benefits, Payroll and timekeeping information online from this new portal and ADP will no longer. Employee will be also able to make their elections for benefits and manage their personal information such as direct deposit and mailing address. If you are newly hired, you have only 31 days from the date of hire to make all benefits election otherwise you have to wait until the next period of open enrollment.

Newly hired- you’ve already receive an email from the HR office that contain Ultipro credentials-

  1. Username: check your email.
  2. Password: temporary- check your email

Not yet received, contact with your payroll/HR office.

Login/Registration

  1. The link to access Ultipro is: https://e43.ultipro.com
  2. Enter your username and password. Following steps is required to complete the registration process for the first time-user.
  3. Change the temporary password- Upon logging in with the temporary password, first time-user will be prompted to set a new password. Please note- password are case sensitive and must be follow the password rules.
  4. Security questions- set the three security questions and provide answers for them. It’s also case sensitive.

Access Dashboard

Your Ultipro account dashboard enables you to view your current pay statements. To check your pay statement click on MENU then select MYSELF. Pay statements option are available at Pay section under MYSELF. Through the Ultipro self-service portal you can also make changes to your direct deposit, W-4 or emergency and home address and much more.

Please note: If you are looking for w2 2018 or prior, the form are available on ADP. So try at ADP or contact to the payroll office.
